VISION

Ka’a’awa School students will be competent, responsible, productive individuals prepared for future challenges.

MISSION

Ka’a’awa School Community members will provide a student-centered learning environment to support competency and achievement of the Standards in all content areas (emphasis on math, Language Arts, Technology).

EXPECTED SCHOOL WIDE LEARNING OUTCOMES

 

*     Every student will show an increase in his/her reading and math abilities and communication skills

*     All students will learn and use computer skills to produce a final product

*     Students will organize, analyze, and interpret information to reach appropriate decisions.

 

*     Students will be able to present more then one solution to a problem.

 

*     Students will participate cooperatively in partners or teams when appropriate.

 

*     Students will resolve conflicts using a positive mediation process such as the Peace Path.

 

*     Students will respect people who are different from them.

 

*     Students will be self-motivated and self-reliant learners.

 

*     Students will adapt their thinking and behavior to personal and environment changes.
